Olsson's-Old Town Alexandria, 106 S. Union St.
When we renovated an old warehouse in this historic port city, we kept the great oak beams and
remade timbers into information desks. The first floor Music Department carries a large selection
of folk, country, rock and classical. American and British history books are strong here. Also
featured are books about nature-animals, birds, pets. We've learned that Alexandrians do love
their dogs. Frequented by local residents and tourists, this is often a meeting spot, given its
late hours and comfortable browsing atmosphere.

Located on South Union Street in the heart of Northern Virginia's most charming historical district, our Old Town Alexandria store offers lots of natural light in a lovely old two storey building looking out on the Potomac River. The store features an eclectic music selection, as well as one of the most carefully cultivated collections of great used books in the DC area. The general book store focusses on our customers' tastes, including Civil War and military books, but with a wide variety of other subjects, as well. Our store and book manager is Alex Beguin, and our music manager is Chris Anderson. Feel free to ask them questions, or just drop by to say hello!
